Job description

Overview:

As a Talent Acquisition Sourcer with MicroTech, you will be providing a valuable resource for the Recruitment Team. This position will report to the Director of Recruiting and assist other IT Recruiter(s) with current and upcoming requisitions. The ideal candidate will play a key part in assisting with recruitment to help fill our open requisitions nationally and internationally.

Responsibilities:
  • The Talent Acquisition Sourcer works alongside the Director of Recruiting and Team to understand staffing needs and implement sourcing strategies to address them
  • This role creates and maintains relationships with external organizations, including professional organizations, community agencies, and colleges, and keeps up with sourcing technologies to help the rest of the Recruitment Team target a diverse pool of qualified candidates
  • Source and recruit for a variety of roles across different departments, including IT, engineering, product, sales, and more
  • Partner with hiring managers within the organization to understand staffing needs and requirements
  • Utilizes various sourcing channels, including online platforms, social media, networking, and industry events, to identify and attract qualified candidates
  • Stays up to date with industry trends, talent pools, and competitive intelligence in order to remain a competitive force in the marketplace
  • Performs other duties as reasonably required or assigned
  • Support cross-functional teams regarding employee data: certifications, training, clearances, job descriptions, skill set, resume searches, etc.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3+ years of experience in IT sourcing or recruiting for federal & DOD government contracts to include technical, engineering, and other related support services
  • Proven success in hiring enterprise IT and technical/program support service positions for federal government contracts
  • Familiarity with various IT roles and technologies, such as enterprise IT infrastructure, network administration, IT product solutions, software development, and cybersecurity.
