Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (ET)

This opportunity is with a boutique M&A advisory firm specializing in middle-market technology and digital media companies. The firm advises clients on sell-side and buy-side M&A, capital raises, valuations, and other strategic financial transactions. Position Overview:


We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled M&A Analyst to support transaction execution, financial analysis, and the creation of high-quality client materials. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in valuation, financial modeling, and transaction strategy, as well as experience developing client-facing presentations and materials. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the middle-market M&A space while working closely with senior leadership on high-impact transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Presentation & Client Materials:

  • Prepare high-quality PowerPoint presentations, including management presentations, ad-hoc reports, and financial storytelling using charts and graphs.
  • Support leadership in developing pitch materials and transaction strategy documents


Financial Analysis & Valuation:

  • Develop and maintain financial models, including DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction analysis.
  • Conduct valuation assessments and strategic financial analysis for buy-side and sell-side engagements.


Deal Execution & Due Diligence:

  • Assist in preparing Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs) and other due diligence reports.
  • Organize and manage virtual data rooms, ensuring smooth document flow during transactions.
  • Conduct industry and market research to support transaction recommendations.


Client & Investor Communication:

  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, investors, and counterparties, ensuring clear and professional communication.


Qualifications:

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or a similar role with M&A exposure.
  • Expertise in creating PowerPoint presentations and effectively visualizing financial data.
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with a focus on producing client-ready materials.
  • Ability to organize and maintain structured processes, such as due diligence and virtual data room setup.
