Job description

Job Summary:

SafeRide Health is seeking a proactive Operations Automation Engineer on our Strategy & Operations and Product teams (Remote) to drive strategic, automation-focused initiatives that streamline our growing operations. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams—Operations, Finance, Data Engineering, Growth, and Product—to identify, design, implement, and maintain automated workflows that replace manual processes. By doing so, you will not only improve efficiency and reduce costs but also enhance the quality of service we provide to patients and partners. This position offers the unique opportunity to engage directly with senior leadership, shape strategic programs, and contribute meaningfully to a dynamic, high-growth environment. If you thrive in fast-paced settings and excel at transforming complexity into scalable solutions, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

· Automate Core Business Processes: Design, develop, and maintain Python scripts and other automation tools to streamline manual workflows across the organization, increasing operational efficiency and accuracy.

· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with teams in Operations, Finance, Data Engineering, Growth, and Product to identify areas ripe for automation and ensure solutions align with business objectives.

· Workflow Design and Stakeholder Engagement: Translate complex, technical solutions into functional, user-friendly workflows. Work directly with non-technical stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver effective, intuitive automation solutions.

· Salesforce Administration and Optimization: Oversee the deployment, customization, and ongoing improvement of SafeRide’s Salesforce instance to enhance our transportation network management capabilities.

· Continuous Improvement and Documentation: Develop clear SOPs, project documentation, and knowledge bases to ensure that automated processes are understood, maintained, and easily adaptable as business needs evolve.

· Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics and data insights to identify process improvement opportunities, measure the impact of automation initiatives, and refine solutions for maximum benefit.

Required Background:

· Bachelor’s degree in economics, computer science, or a related field.

· 2+ years of experience in management consulting, business operations, data analytics, or a related field.

· 2+ years of experience in Python, SQL, and Basic Linux administration and Bash/Shell scripting experience enabling you to build and maintain automation scripts.

· Strong Excel skills and proven experience manipulating large datasets.

Preferred Background:

· Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration and management.

· Salesforce Administrator Certification.

· Any SQL experience for advanced data manipulation and reporting.

Additional Attributes:

· Strong problem-solving aptitude with the ability to navigate ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities.

· Outstanding communication skills, capable of clearly conveying technical solutions to diverse stakeholders.

· Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, exhibiting creativity, adaptability, and sound business judgment.
