The Neuroscience Institute (NI)at Carnegie Mellon University was launched to bring together faculty and staff from across the University to conduct multi-disciplinary work to advance the state of brain science.

We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to conduct research on the human brain.

Core Responsibilities
  • Advanced independent and/or directed research on the human brain
  • Designing dynamic multi-electrode stimulation protocols for inter-cranial human brain stimulation
  • Analyzing measured neural responses to stimuli, striving to characterize dimensions of the greatest efficacy.
  • Development and design of research plans, testing and data collection.

Qualifications
  • Ph.D in Neuroscience or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge in neuroscience, human brain physiology, biology and/or a related field
  • Experience in implementing complex research plans and development of methods of research
  • Experience testing and data collection
  • Experience in writing reports that contain descriptive and analytical content
  • A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
