INTECON, LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Facilities and Logistics Technician to support AFWERX workplace operations, inventory management, and event coordination. This role ensures efficient logistics operations, visitor coordination, and site management, providing critical support to AFWERX hubs, conference rooms, and public-facing engagements. The selected candidate will be responsible for facility logistics, access control, IT equipment handling, and customer relationship management (CRM) functions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Facilities and Logistics Technician will:
- Manage business and IT inventory, ensuring accurate tracking, documentation, and shipping of assets.
- Oversee access control, greeting and assisting visitors at AFWERX workplace locations and hubs.
- Schedule, configure, and support conference rooms, including audio-visual setup and troubleshooting.
- Provide logistical planning and on-site support for events, ensuring smooth execution.
- Maintain a daily physical presence as required at AFWERX sites, serving as a key point of contact for facility operations.
- Serve as a receptionist at AFWERX hubs, managing visitor intake and customer relationship tracking.
- Act as the public-facing representative of AFWERX, ensuring positive engagement with external visitors.
- Manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) functions, including visitor intake, updating CRM trackers, and transitioning customer data into AFWERX systems.
- Coordinate visits and intake visit requests, ensuring proper scheduling and execution of engagements.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols, maintaining secure access to AFWERX facilities and logistics operations.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in facilities management, logistics, supply chain operations, or event coordination.
- Proven experience in inventory management, shipping documentation, and asset tracking.
- Strong background in conference room and audio-visual system setup and troubleshooting.
- Experience working in a customer-facing role, managing visitor intake, scheduling, and CRM systems.
- Familiarity with facility security procedures, access control protocols, and site management.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and competing priorities.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to support event logistics and customer engagement.
- Experience with government or DoD facility operations is preferred.

Security Clearance:
Active Secret Clearance required, with the ability to obtain Top Secret (TS/SCI) if needed.
