Job Summary

Reporting to the Sr. GL Accounting Manager, the Treasury Analyst has the critical role of supporting daily treasury operations at Porch Group. High level responsibilities include daily cash positioning and forecasting, funds transfers, and bank account management. This position is responsible for accurate and timely reporting of financial transactions. This role requires experience with finance and accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting.  

 

What You Will Do As A Treasury Analyst

  • Support all aspects of daily treasury operations and will support at the Porch corporate level and be aligned with all Business Units. 

  • Responsibilities for this role include, but is not limited to, daily cash positioning and forecasting, funds transfers, and bank account management and is in excess of $300M in transactions per year.  

  • Partner with daily cash activities and related investment funds (as needed).  

  • Compile and analyze financial information to meet monthly, quarterly, and fiscal year end management reporting requirements, including support for audit processes. 

  • Process external and inter-company wire and ACH cash transfers 

  • Partner with managing banking relationships and bank accounts, including account openings, account closing, change in services, updating signers, and all facets of the banking relationships and bank accounts. 

  • Maintain online banking portal access and set-up. 

  • Participate in cross-functional projects to optimize internal processes involving bank services. 

  • Partner accountants in researching variances and reconciling items on bank reconciliations. 

  • Review accounts for adjusted items, research and correct as needed. 

  • Partner with resolving any exceptions related to wire submissions, deposit delays, and any other required resolution.  

  • Other ad hoc projects. 

 

What You Will Bring As A Treasury Analyst

  • B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience in a corporate finance setting. 

  • Minimum of 6+ years’ work experience in a corporate finance setting 

  • Treasury or cash experience. 

  • Demonstrates wide-ranging experience in job function. 

  • Acts independently; determines new methods and procedures on new assignments. 

  • Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities - ability to analyze complex information and reach clear, concise conclusions. 

  • Strong communication skills - effective at soliciting information and cooperation at all levels of the organization. 

  • Strong organizational skills coupled with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.  

  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of completeness and accuracy. 

  • A collaborative, customer-centric approach with the ability to work with business units, accounting, and finance functions. 

  • Shows multiple examples of achieving results/showing significant progress in changing environments. 

  • Exceptional computer skills are required, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word & PowerPoint). 

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, virtual environment requiring self-motivation and adaptability. 

  • This role is remote but must be willing to work in PST time zone for core banking hours of 9 AM to 5 PM PST. 

  • Prior NetSuite and FloQast experience a plus.

What You Will Get As A Porch Group Team Member 

Pay Range- $84,000 - $112,000 Annually 

Please know your actual pay at Porch will reflect a number of factors among which are your work experience and skillsets, job-related knowledge, alignment with market and our Porch employees, as well as your geographic location.  

Additionally, you will be eligible to receive long-term incentive awards, subject to program guidelines and approvals.
