Your role
As a Business Development Manager at VAN IN, you will play a key role in identifying and capturing new business opportunities that align with our strategic objectives. Leveraging your expertise in market analysis and stakeholder collaboration, you will expand our footprint in existing markets and drive entry into new ones.
Your primary focus will be on building sustainable partnerships, uncovering untapped opportunities, and developing tailored business strategies to achieve growth.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the BeNe Innovation Manager.
You will lead the initiatives in the Belgian market within the BeNe innovation for growth program to explore new customer segments, analyze competitive landscapes, and craft value propositions that resonate with our target audiences.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing the implementation of the new business proposals related to the Belgian market, working with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution and measurable outcomes.
You will also maintain active engagement with internal and external stakeholders, employing co-creation methodologies to refine solutions and strategies. As a critical link between strategic planning and operational delivery, your role will ensure that our business development efforts are customer-focused, results-driven, and aligned with our overarching goals.
What do we expect from you in this role?
- Educational Background: relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- Business acumen: proven ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities, with a focus on measurable results.
- Market knowledge: deep understanding of market trends and customer needs; experience in the educational sector is a significant advantage.
- Innovative thinking: ability to develop and refine strategies for new business development, incorporating innovative approaches and technologies like AI.
- Analytical skills: strong analytical mindset, capable of interpreting market data and customer feedback to guide decision-making.
- Collaborative leadership: demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders across Sanoma Learning.
- Communication skills: excellent English speaking and writing skills, enabling effective communication with diverse audiences.
- Make it happen focus: proven track record in delivering business strategies and turning concepts into successful market propositions.
