About the position
The responsibility of the Specialist Technical Support is to provide optimal and timely technical information to questions from customers (vessel owners, fleet managers, shipyards, crew on board vessels).

Key tasks:

• Provide support in the form of Help Desk support, claims support and operational business support for a specific industry or application.
• Provide solutions for design issues together with other stakeholders.
• Maintain and update sales tools and sales documentation.
• Develop training material and hold technical trainings.
• Make quotations for upgrades and engineered components to sales companies.
• Make sure that necessary tests will be done.
• Set up retrofit programs.
• Sharing information in a structured way.

Who you are

• Technical HBO working-and competence level.
• At few years’ experience with technical systems in industrial applications.
• Good understanding of mechanical constructions and ability to understand mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge and experience with safety regulations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
