Job description

About DrFirst:

DrFirst is a fast-growing leader in healthcare technology, pioneering e-prescribing solutions that simplify workflows, boost patient safety, and elevate the prescribing experience for healthcare providers. Our product, iPrescribe, is a mobile and desktop e-prescribing app sold via a direct-to-consumer (DTC) SaaS model — a rarity in healthcare. Having established strong product-market fit, we’re entering a new phase of expansion: building out adjacent vertical product strategies to become the clinical assistant in every healthcare provider's pocket. With revenue soaring triple digits over the past two years, we’re poised for continued growth—and we need a dynamic Product Manager to help us realize our bold vision.

Position Overview:

As the Product Manager for iPrescribe, you’ll drive the day-to-day execution of our product roadmap at a pivotal stage. You’ll work on executing new features and initiatives to help us scale and continuously improve iPrescribe, addressing the evolving needs of healthcare providers. From writing detailed user stories to creating Jira tickets, you’ll ensure our product features are delivered on time, documented effectively, and embraced by both internal teams and end-users. This is an ideal chance to impact a product with proven market fit and extraordinary growth potential—while improving healthcare through technology.

What you will work on:
  1. Product Development & Execution
  • Translate the iPrescribe Vision and Strategy to an executable roadmap.
  • Execute against the iPrescribe roadmap by collaborating with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Write detailed user stories, create Jira tickets, and maintain clear priorities.
  • Ensure timely, high-quality feature delivery aligned with business and user needs.
  • Feature Delivery
    • Own features end-to-end: from ideation to validation post-launch.
    • Translate product requirements into clear acceptance criteria and oversee development progress.
  • AI in Healthcare
    • Explore and refine ways to integrate AI capabilities into iPrescribe.
    • Leverage AI to enhance clinical workflows and improve outcomes for healthcare providers.
  • Customer Feedback & Market Insight
    • Gather, analyze, and prioritize user feedback and market trends to guide product decisions.
    • Balance near-term deliverables with longer-term strategic growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Serve as the main liaison between product, engineering, design, and other stakeholder teams.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution of product features.
  • Knowledge Management
    • Develop and maintain internal and external knowledge base articles, FAQs, and support documentation.
    • Ensure product updates are clearly communicated to internal and external audiences.
  • Metrics & Performance
    • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product features.
    • Use data-driven insights to refine and optimize product functionality and user experience.
  • Cross-Functional Communication
    • Communicate product vision, progress, and updates to internal stakeholders.
    • Foster transparency and alignment across teams.
    Qualifications:
    • Experience: 3+ years in product management with success in launching and scaling SaaS or mobile applications. Healthcare tech experience is a plus.
    • Execution-Focused: Demonstrated ability to turn strategic goals into actionable product features. Skilled in writing user stories, creating Jira tickets, and managing product backlogs.
    • AI in Clinical Applications: Interest in applying AI solutions to enhance healthcare workflows.
    • Tools: Proficient with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence), Mixpanel, Stripe, Figma, and Zendesk.
    • Customer-Centric: Able to identify user needs, prioritize them effectively, and balance those needs with business objectives.
    • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with DTC SaaS or mobile products, especially in healthcare or e-prescribing.
    • Familiarity with vertical product strategies and scaling across different markets.
    • Proven track record in user acquisition and retention strategies for DTC products.
    Physical Requirements:
    • 10% Travel
    • 60% Desk work
    • 30% Phone work
