Job Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Innovation

Architect and implement state-of-the-art AI platform infrastructure, from conception to production deployment
Drive technical decision-making for platform architecture, scalability, and operational excellence
Establish best practices for platform development, testing, and deployment workflows
Design and implement infrastructure for ML model training and serving at scale
Lead the development of robust data management and versioning systems
Pioneer innovative solutions for ML infrastructure optimization

Team & Project Leadership

Lead and mentor a team of senior platform engineers
Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning
Drive cross-functional collaboration with ML engineers, researchers, and product teams
Define technical roadmaps aligned with business objectives
Champion system reliability, security, and compliance standards
Guide career development and growth of team members

Infrastructure & Scale

Partner with ML teams to design and optimize data pipelines for large-scale training
Architect solutions for efficient real-time and batch inference systems
Ensure robust monitoring and maintenance of production ML systems
Drive improvements in platform performance, efficiency, and reliability

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience

MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, with focus on platform/infrastructure development
Proven track record of building large-scale distributed systems in production environments
Strong background in cloud-native technologies and ML infrastructure

Technical Expertise

Deep expertise in designing and building scalable distributed systems
Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with multiple languages
Extensive experience with cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices
Demonstrated expertise in building and optimizing large-scale data processing pipelines
Strong background in ML infrastructure and deployment systems

Leadership & Communication

Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams
Strong track record of driving technical decisions and innovation
Excellence in cross-functional collaboration and technical communication
Recognized expertise in platform engineering and distributed systems
