As a Supply Chain Development Lead you will be responsible for; driving continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve delivery performance. This role is pivotal in building strong relationships with suppliers, conducting assessments, and implementing strategies that align with the company’s objectives.

  • Develop and execute supplier development strategies to enhance performance and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify supplier Quality & Delivery issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct supplier assessments, audits, and performance reviews to ensure compliance with Rolls-Royce SABRE requirements.
  • Lead training and development programs for suppliers to improve quality and delivery.
  • Monitor and report on supplier performance metrics, driving accountability and improvement.
  • Foster strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to facilitate communication and collaboration.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in supplier development and supply chain management.

Qualifications;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in supplier development, quality assurance, or supply chain management.
  • Rolls-Royce Experience Preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management and process improvement methodologies.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma).
  • Familiarity with supply chain management software and tools (SAP).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary Range: $135K-$175K

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

Location: This position can be remote based, but requires 50% travel to supplier sites to perform audits. Indianapolis, IN is a preferred location.
