Job description

Agility Robotics is a pioneer. Our robot, Digit, is the first to be sold into workplaces across the globe. Our team is differentiated by its expertise in imagining, engineering, and delivering robots with advanced mobility, dexterity, intelligence, and efficiency -- robots specifically designed to work alongside people, in spaces built for people. Every day, we break through engineering challenges and invent new solutions and capabilities that will one day make robots commonplace and approachable. This work is our passion and our responsibility: our mission is to make businesses more productive and people’s lives more fulfilling.

About the Role

Our product team is growing rapidly and we are looking for a talented product manager to join our agile, world-class team. Agility Robotics is looking for a Product Manager to support the development of Digit, our bipedal mobile manipulator robot. In particular, this product manager will support the development of Digit, from a hardware perspective (mechanical, electrical, systems, firmware), as well as the autonomy stack of the robot.

About the Work
  • Define Product Requirements: Serve as lead owner of product level requirements for the robot (Hardware and on-robot software). Work closely with engineering, design, and operations teams to define detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for humanoid robot features. Translate customer and internal needs into clear, actionable technical specifications.
  • Prioritize Features & Backlog: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, evaluating trade-offs based on factors such as technical feasibility, customer value, and resource constraints. Work closely with engineering to ensure priorities are aligned with the overall product strategy.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as the key liaison between engineering, design, commercial, and customers, ensuring that everyone is aligned with the product vision and user experience goals. Facilitate clear communication to keep everyone focused on delivering valuable, customer-driven features.
  • Customer pilot support and iteration: Ensure that customer pilots are aligned with the roadmap. Support the iteration process for each release cycle, gathering feedback from beta users to refine and optimize features. Ensure that the releases meet customer expectations, gather learning, and use them to prioritize future roadmap features.
  • Product launch: Develop product launch deliverables in collaboration with marketing and commercial teams.
  • Work with a Remote Team and Department: Collaborate effectively with remote teams and departments across multiple time zones. Ensure smooth communication, alignment on goals, and effective execution of tasks.
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees (MS, PhD) a plus.
  • 3+ years as a Product Manager, preferably in robotics, AI, or complex products that combine hardware and software.
  • Managed the lifecycle of a product from ideation to implementation to post launch adoption.
  • A strong customer focus for understanding customer needs and translating them into clear, concise, and actionable product requirements.
  • Strong experience in tactical execution—breaking down high-level goals into detailed, actionable features and managing them through to completion.
  • Strong experience writing Product Requirement Documents and Jira initiatives/epics for feature definition.
  • Experience managing a product backlog and iterative software releases.
  • Analytical skills to quantify impact of features and utilize data for prioritization.
  • Experience in both traditional waterfall (HW) and Agile development (SW).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment (engineering, design, marketing, operations, sales, etc), and leading without direct authority.
  • Go to Market experience taking a product through launch strategy, defining value proposition, pricing, and promotion. Experience managing beta engagements.
You may have:
  • Experience working with a remote team.
  • Experience in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing or related industries.
  • Experience in B2B product management.
  • Experience working with humanoid robot platforms, or any robotics-related hardware development.
  • Familiarity with robot software, simulation, and testing platforms.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience using project management tools like Jira or Confluence.
  • Experience in functional safety and compliance requirements.
