SUMMARY
As a Lead Product Designer at SQUIRE, you will work closely with leadership to define and maintain design vision, partner with outside teams to identify feature gaps or opportunities for innovation, and ensure design consistency across our suite of barber management and booking products. You’ll tackle complex workflows and establish scalable systems that meet the needs of barbers and their clients. You will also mentor junior designers, and provide guidance and assistance to cross-functional teams. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLead the design of critical product features, from concept to deliveryBe the voice of the SQUIRE user, being thoughtful of where they are when using our productsContribute to and guide the scalability and evolution of our internal design language systemLead brainstorming workshops and discovery endeavors, gathering insights and inspiration from a variety of sourcesPartner with Product Managers and outside teams to organize and conduct qualitative usability testing, both async and through live interviewsWork with leadership to foster a SQUIRE-wide culture of empathy and user-centric thinkingTranslate abstract systems or flows into intuitive diagrams for group discussion and decision-makingProvide assets to outside teams that further marketing and customer engagement efforts - This may involve working in After Effects
