Registered Clinical Psychologist - Sherwood Park, AB

 

Join a growing national mental health initiative at Lifemark Physiotherapy Synergy!

 

We are seeking a Registered Clinical Psychologist to provide evidence-based, client-centered care within a supportive, collaborative, interdisciplinary setting. This permanent part-time position (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays) offers flexibility with the potential for full-time status in the future. 

Two (2) location options: 

  • 100% remote work 
  • Hybrid model at our Lifemark Physiotherapy Synergy clinic located at 501 Bethel Dr, Sherwood Park, AB , T8H 0N2.  

 

Your Expertise:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments (diagnostic, pre-employment, etc.) 
  • Deliver evidence-based individual and group therapy (CBT preferred) for a diverse range of presenting concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, substance use, and more.
  • Employ a biopsychosocial approach within interdisciplinary mental health and rehabilitation teams.  
  • Contribute to program development, evaluation, and training initiatives.

 

Client Focus: 

  • MVA and LTD claims. 
  • Private patients.
  • Potential for future work within the Veterans Affairs Canada PCVRS program.  

 

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from an accredited university. 
  • Registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists and able to provide services independently.
  • Experience with psychological assessment and evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
  • French language proficiency is a strong asset.
