Job Title: Diabetes Therapy Associate

About the opportunity: If you are motivated by meaningful, impactful work, we invite you to join our team! In this integral sales support role, you will impact the lives of people with diabetes by working with the sales team and our direct to consumer (DTC) and healthcare professional (HCP) customers in supporting our product Eversense, the first implantable continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system. This is an exciting new product offering for Ascensia, and you will be working with a dedicated and highly collaborative team.

Location: This position is a remote field position with flexibility on location since no travel is involved.

What you will be doing:

  • Work closely with a Territory Manager (TM) in your geography to qualify leads, manage patient inquiries and prospect new customers.
  • Meet or exceed internal goals for requisitions/conversions/shipments in assigned territory.
  • Responsible for DTC/HCP lead conversion, pipeline management, Certified Eversense Provider identification, coordination of training, patient pull through management.  
  • Discuss the benefits/costs/process of Eversense with prospective patients.
  • Resolve customer concerns throughout the sales process from initial interest through product shipment.
  • Complete initial and follow up calls/emails with prospective leads/opportunities via inbound and outbound contacts and track daily production via CRM.   
  • In collaboration with TM, lead field forecasting efforts in territory, ensuring that accurate forecasts are completed on a timely basis.
  • In collaboration with Inside Sales teammate (ISR) weekly identify patient opportunities for shipment.
  • Work in collaboration with Distributor partners to expedite shipment of patients’ Eversense CGM.
  • Working hours and shift durations may vary depending on business needs, as well as the specific requirements of the position and policies.  We currently offer Monday - Friday and Tuesday - Saturday shift options.

What you need for success:

  • Education: Preferred Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in medical devices or pharmaceutical Inside Sales
  • Diabetes experience preferred
  • Possess high level understanding of US healthcare and payer landscape. High level of professionalism, customer service skills and influencing skills with the ability to problem-solve.
  • Experience working within a CRM is a plus
