MAI Broker Management System (BMS) Applications Trainer
Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Mergers & Acquisitions Integration (MAI) Training and Organizational Change Management (OCM), the MAI Applications Trainer will deliver training to HUB employees on a variety of brokerage management systems, applications, point solutions and standard business processes related to client service.
Optional: Join one of the top acquiring firms as an MAI BMS Applications Trainer. We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about adult learning, supporting the learning journey of others and applying proven methodologies to ensure training objectives are met.
Priorities for the role include:
- Collaborate with business leaders, subject matter experts and team members to plan and schedule systems training events including new employee training, refresher training and continuing education
- Collaborate with IT partners to establish training environments (i.e., test data and training scenarios)
- Work with team members to define and execute key learning processes related to training logistics, regional differences, and custom learning requests
- Provide training on business workflows & processes delivering instructor-led application training in person or virtually in a group or individual setting
- Serve as backup and collaborate with team members on managing user access to Brokerage Management Systems (BMS), applications and online learning solutions
- Support development of appropriate courseware tools and applications along with ongoing assessment of existing tools
- Review training content and materials to identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Identify and communicate any specialized training needs outside of BMS applications to business unit
- Respond to post “Go Live” inquiries to assist individuals with BMS “how to” application issues
- Administer learning evaluations and assessments as defined by the curriculum. Conduct proactive results analysis, make recommendations for training improvement, and integrate changes in curriculum and/or courses
- Work with BMS application teams to understand, learn and demonstrate solid knowledge of any changes and upcoming application upgrades/enhancements
- Participate in upgrade and maintenance update testing
- Stay up to date with industry technology developments
- Assist with redesign and maintenance of MAI Training and OCM communication templates and artifacts
Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of P&C Insurance required
- In-depth, firsthand knowledge of Applied Epic required
- Proven experience with adult learning principles including evaluations & assessments
- Proven experience facilitating instructor-led training sessions in person or via web meeting process (on camera) required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Brings an optimistic, can-do approach to all tasks and responsibilities
- Display a high level of EQ, focusing on interpersonal, motivational skills and positive attitude
- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
- Ability to identify innovative ideas and concepts quickly
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Formal education or certification(s) in adult learning, business communication, education, or equivalent insurance industry experience
- 5+ years of in-person and virtual instructional delivery or facilitation
- Ability to travel up to 25% between US and Canada
Although hybrid to a local HUB office is desirable, we are open to remote candidates.
