To join our team as a Senior Program Consultant. In this role, you will be part of a program delivery team responsible for designing and implementing innovative and equity-focused residential energy-efficiency program offering in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

JOB DUTIES
This role will lead the delivery of an energy efficiency program offering that specializes in connecting customers  experiencing lower incomes, communities of color, and rural customers with financial and information resources to make their home more energy efficient – and lower their energy bills. CLEAResult seeks a candidate with leadership, relationship-building, project management and business acumen skills to grow with our programs & expand our community impact. The ideal candidate will display a passion for accelerating the adoption of residential energy efficiency technologies and is enthusiastic about the intersections of energy and equity.

This role will be responsible for systematically & strategically growing an existing community-focused energy efficiency program offering significantly by identifying and overseeing program developments, and guide implementation by addressing participation barriers, refining program operations, and demonstrating strong client management skills.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience growing programs, launching initiatives, and refining operations & systems.
  • Implement and propose programmatic enhancements in a way that will help level-up our internal capacity to provide energy-efficiency services to clients and residential initiatives we serve.
  • Develop trusted partnerships with our client, and oversee relationship-building and communications with community-based organizations, tradespeople and internal team members across the organization
  • Integrate strategic recommendations to our client based on informed qualitative and quantitative results, and feedback from internal & external partners that align with our client’s goals.  
  • Advocate for underrepresented communities with your expertise in environmental justice, economic justice, racial justice, or equity.
  • Effectively coordinate regularly with internal cross-functional teams, be comfortable with task delegation, and have a collaborative working style.  
  • Have strong time-management and project management skills, and direct experience managing competing priorities. Be organized, communicative, and proactive.
  • Be skilled in written & oral communications across a variety of audiences & personality types. Able to convey complex ideas through brief, simple materials. Summarize key trends and details of partner and stakeholder activity.
  • Be a curious and creative problem solver, and think outside the box while maintaining an appreciation for efficient systems and process.  

In this exciting career opportunity, you will have…

  • 6+ years combined relevant work and/or industry experience ideally with program development or implementation, non-profit organizations, environmental advocacy, energy efficiency and/or general project management
  • Experience in leadership or management role.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality; organized and process-oriented.
  • Experience preparing, analyzing, and reviewing reports, memos, and strategy plans for accuracy, completeness, errors, etc.
  • An ability to work with minimal supervision and communicate progress of task completion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under stress, interruptions, and tight deadlines to meet & exceed goals.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience with Project Management software like Asana, SmartSheets, and Lean Project Management approaches a plus
