Overview
This role is responsible for the program management of initiatives in the Learning and Development space for a large enterprise organization. This role will assess and evaluate training programs and materials, review current processes and develop a roadmap to digitize the program and processes according to organizational needs and objectives. The Program Manager is responsible for evaluating and managing efforts to enhance and revitalize the program. This role will review and establish documentation, reports, and standardize and optimize processes. This position is a short term, remote consulting project (2-3 months with possible extension), working mostly central time zone hours but could work across other locations and time zones. This role will require executive presence, professionalism, collaborative team focus, and strong program management skills and methodologies.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Daily, hands-on program management efforts to evaluate, address and create new programs, materials and processes
· Plan and execute on deliverables and drive results of a complex program with multiple locations
· Document program deliverables utilizing PMI or PMP methodology
· Integrate business policies and governance processes into planning & accountability for project roadmaps and execution strategy
· Establish risk management, escalation paths, and take corrective measurements
· Partner with cross functional resources to ensure timely, high quality deliverables
· Facilitate, document, and lead project meetings and manage stakeholders’ communication
· Build regular project status documents for executive leadership teams
· Identify program KPIs to assess impact
· Provide and perform quality assurance checks on project deliverables.
· Own overall integrated project plan and manage cross-functional resources, ensuring on-time delivery, meeting of budgetary demands, and achievement of business goal
· Consistently exercise informed judgment and discretion in matters of significance
Requirements
Desired Skills and Experience
Candidates must have strong experience in program and/or project management gained through managing other enterprise level projects. They must have the following:
· Minimum of 6-7 years project or program management experience managing multiple workstreams, ideally in large companies in the Learning and Development space
· Learning and Development and Project Management experience is necessary
· Consulting experience is important and the ability to be executive facing with numerous stakeholders
· Proven knowledge of project and program management methodology
· Experience in the L&D function understanding training programs and processes is helpful
· Excellent oral and written communications skills to stakeholders including the ability to influence, strategize and negotiate and present materials succinctly
· Ability to think analytically and process information quickly, presenting it in a succinct and insightful format suitable for executives
Qualifications/Technical Skill Requirements
· Minimum of 7 years of program/project management experience and experience with formal project management methodology
· Experience working with stakeholders across a large and complex organization
· Management or Business Consultant experience
· Strong analytical, documentation and reporting skills
· Strong proficiency with PPT, Smartsheet and Excel
Education/Certifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Communications, or related is required
· PMP certification is preferred
Compensation
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a short term consulting project on a 1099 model at $85-90/hour for qualified candidates. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for this specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for the role.
