Daily challenges

• Provide day to day operations support and on-call support.
• Offer foundational technical support in infrastructure services, providing assistance in routine tasks.
• Assist with infrastructure projects and assignments.
• Participate in basic monitoring and routine troubleshooting of infrastructure systems.
• Collaborate with team members to address infrastructure challenges and daily operational tasks.
• Support the creation and maintenance of infrastructure documentation.
• Provide technical support and leadership in a complex mission critical SAP environment.
• Use tools for remote management and alert monitoring.
• Responsible for incident / service call investigation, diagnosis, resolutions where possible or dispatching to the relevant higher-level support.
• Provide SAP expertise in the customer engagement team.
• Develop and improve technical skills through on-the-job experience.
• Show eagerness to learn and gain expertise in infrastructure services.
• Follow established best practices and standards in infrastructure service delivery.

eXperience and skills required

• SAP basis administration experience (SAP Basis ABAP/JAVA), preferably 2+ years
• Advantage: Knowledge & experience with databases administration: Oracle, MaxDB, MSSQL, DB2, HANA
• Computer/IT literacy – comfortable working with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.
• Experience in Unix/ Linux system administration
• Windows OS knowledge (basics of administration)
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Basic knowledge of IP Services
• UX Based system commands
• NT based systems – basic commands
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment – team player
• Logical thinking, proactive mindset, problem solving and decision making awareness
• Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks with minimal direction
• Ability to work in a high pressure environment and ability to adapt to a changing environment
• Willingness to learn new things and ability to be a quick learner
• Analytical problem-solving skills
• Customer and service orientation
• Good communications skills
• Proven experience in infrastructure technology analysis
• Fluent written and spoken English (German or other additional foreign language is advantage)
