This individual will be joining the W’s Golf Apparel creation team within the W’s Tennis & Golf Apparel product management team.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for an individual who is passionate about Nike and Women’s Product, and is inspired by finding product solutions for our female golf athlete and consumer. This individual is a organized, a great communicator, and loves to collaborate within a team.
This role has a direct influence on the strategy, aesethetic and execution of our Women’s Golf Line by partnering with the W’s Golf product line manager and product director as well as the total creation cross functional team at key moments throughout the season.
The candidate needs to have heightened awareness of the women’s fashion and performance industries/competitive landscape, a passion for Nike and Women’s product, and confidence with verbal and written communication.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you will be supporting a Senior Product Line Manager and a Product Director in all product meetings and maintaining our product assortment data integrity, creating visual tools for our cross-functional team, sample ordering and management as well as owning a portion of our line through product strategy and end to end management with your merchandising, design, and development partners.
A typical day/week looks like joining in on all product and design reviews, connecting with merchandising at key strategy check-ins, participating in cross-functional meetings, creating compelling visual tools for influencing design,merchandising and our downstreak geography partners, maintaining our systems and product tools.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will be reporting into the Women’s Tennis & Golf Apparel Product Director, and working alongside a Women’s Golf Apparel product line manager. You will also collaborate with the product managers throughout the Women’s Sport product creation team. Additional key partner functions include your peers in apparel design, technical development, materials, and global merchandising.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
- Looking for internship experience or retail experience within the apparel or performance industries. 1-2 years in an entry level buying or merchandising role is a plus.
- Must haves: Passion for Women’s product, excellent organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, confidence using Excel, retail math, can build compelling visual tools in Powerpoint/Keynote.
