The Affordability Delivery Execution team is seeking an Agile Product Manager to support a large multi-year roadmap initiative within the Provider Network Strategy & Solutions organization. The Product Manager role requires extensive health plan product knowledge as well as agile delivery experience with an expert ability to decompose business strategy and product development components into tangible system features for development. This will be a trail-blazing role to drive true business product orientation to Agile Product Management roles within the organization. The ability to balance customer desires with scalable technology solutions in a technology modernization environment will be an integral component of this role.
Responsibilities Overview:
Become a subject matter expert on down-market employer health plan client product needs inclusive of managed care, varying network access and traditional plan types.
Develop a deep understanding of system constraints to ensure business products work with the systems to minimize scalability inhibitors (customizations, redundancies, etc.)
Manage the product backlog by ensuring appropriate stakeholder alignment at each stage of the development lifecycle
Assess business value and prioritizes all stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that align with strategy
Work with all stakeholders to make tradeoff decisions regarding competing priorities
Collaborates with the product owners to continuously develop and communicate the vision for the scrum teams that are key to efficient and effective development.
Collaborate cross-functionally with development team, experience groups for provider, customer (member), and client (employers) as well as marketing stakeholders
Partners with strategy leads and Epic owners to understand market trends and desired shifts in delivery approach to drive prioritization of agile delivery work.
Define the right key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the product performance
Define desirable, viable, feasible, and sustainable solutions that meet customer needs and supporting development across the product life cycle
Some travel may be required (10%)

Ability to lead and influence in a matrixed environment, developing strong relationships with both business and IT leadership
Strong decision facilitation skills, able to define options and their implications, and broadly socialize recommendations
Strong business acumen - proven ability to leverage knowledge base to quickly come up to speed in new business areas and new types of projects

Comfortable with raising questions, issues, ideas or suggestions to co-workers at all levels across all organizations.
Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and training, along with excellent presentation skills and information discernment based on audience (executive vs stakeholder vs delivery team).
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree preferred
5+ years of related work experience, either as a Management Consultant, Business Architect, Business Analyst, Business Process Engineer, Program Manager, Agile Program Epic Owner or Agile Product Manager, required
10+ years of Employer Health Plan experience, required
SAFe 6.0 POPM Certification or willingness to obtain
Knowledge of Employer Health Plan product end to end implementation components; benefits, claim, call, client, provider data, provider network
Ability to leverage Microsoft Office applications at an intermediate to expert level to tell a story through roadmaps, presentations, data aggregation, process flows.
Ability to navigate on-screen documentation and collaboration tools to drive comprehension and efficiency in a blend of virtual and on-site forums (core tools; Confluence, Jira, Mural, Power Point, Excel).
Ability to self-orient in a Train the Trainer capacity to Cigna Agile Operating processes and tools to drive understanding across business and technology teams.
Preferred Experience:
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 113,200 - 188,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
