Job description

Overview:

ExamWorks Compliance Solutions is seeking a Pharmacist to join the team!

 

This is 100% remote, Monday - Friday standard business hours.

 

The Pharmacist has a primary responsibility to complete Rx Analysis reports, perform medical provider Outreaches, and assist with providing clinical knowledge to pharmacists.  This position will also provide information on pharmacy related issues to clinical staff as needed and include responsibility for timely service delivery and quality reporting in compliance with URAC Standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Write comprehensive, evidence-based Rx Analysis reports within required time frames
  • Support the pharmacist staff in performing Outreaches to medical providers
  • Document discussions with providers in the form of a provided Outreach template and within designated operating systems
  • Educate staff, provide resource/guidance, and interact with other contractor/full-time pharmacists on a regular basis
  • Research pertinent information and update staff of new work-related pharmaceutical topics
  • Respond promptly to customers, Account Executives, and National Account Managers when requested or indicated
  • Attend regularly scheduled conference calls with staff to remain updated on current workflows and processes
  • Assist staff in providing occasional special requests such as performing Outreaches on Rx Analysis products, completing rush cases, and providing internal educational materials
  • Maintain good communication with other staff members within the clinical solutions unit
  • Attend all scheduled conference calls as mandated by management
  • Maintain any required credentials and adhere to all codes of ethics required by these credentials

 

Qualifications:
  • At least one active and unrestricted state pharmacist license required (Registered Pharmacist or PharmD)
  • A Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited college or school of pharmacy preferred
  • 3+ years of pharmacist experience 
  • Workers Compensation Insurance and Medicare experience preferred
  • Knowledge of rules, policies and regulations related to the disbursal of pharmaceutical drugs
  • Knowledge of medications, medication dosing, side effects, indications, contraindications and proper administration
  • Knowledge of clinical procedures or operations
  • Must have strong knowledge of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet
  • Ability to demonstrate strong customer service knowledge including needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Ability to concentrate and multitask in a fast paced work environment.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards
  • Must be able to demonstrate and promote a positive team -oriented environment
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common to complex correspondence, various reporting records, medical and legal contracts and/or related case documents
  • Ability to effectively present information one-on-one, in small groups, and/or clients or vendors of the company
