Role Mission:
The Content Editor is responsible for the daily updates and maintenance of relevant material in the product databases. This role plays a critical function in capturing, processing, and managing regulatory content while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with editorial standards. Working independently with minimal supervision, the Content Editor contributes to content integrity and supports knowledge-sharing within the team.
Responsibilities:
Content Capture and Processing
- Identify, capture, and convert source documents for Rulebooks content.
- Log work orders and work streams for Tracker content.
Editorial Responsibility
- Summarize Regulatory Event documents for English-language content.
- Identify, extract, and capture event metadata, including related rules.
- Update rule text in accordance with amending documents.
Individual and Leadership Development
- Act as a coach/mentor for other editors as needed.
- Lead small projects or initiatives within the editorial team.
Scope and Impact
- Prioritize workload independently and contribute to team prioritization efforts.
- Work with minimal supervision while ensuring high-quality content.
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience, sharing knowledge and expertise.
- Understand customer needs and ensure editorial processes align with them.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Implement rule amendments for multiple rulebooks.
- Maintain a strong understanding of requirements for summarizing Regulatory Events.
- Use editorial tools effectively and meet/exceed production expectations.
- Stay informed on Rulebooks and Tracker processes.
Relationship Management
- Maintain clear communication with Content Leads and other managers.
- Collaborate effectively with editors and other teams.
- Seek and incorporate feedback from trainers and leads.
- Stay curious and engaged with industry developments and customer needs.
What We're Looking For:
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Strong preference for para-legal, financial/banking, or related educational background.
Professional Experience
- 2-3 years of editorial experience.
