What you’ll do

At Lingokids, we are passionate about delivering high-quality products that delight our users. As a QA Engineer, you’ll ensure our product is reliable and meet the highest quality standards. You’ll collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to test new features, resolve issues, and improve our processes. As part of our 40-person Product Engineering team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our product.

• Develop and execute test plans to ensure features meet requirements and work as intended.
• Design, implement and maintain automated tests to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify risks and plan testing strategies.
• Conduct manual testing for critical features and high-impact areas.
• Analyze test results, report bugs, and help resolve issues quickly.
• Document testing strategies, test procedures, test cases, and test results.
• Suggest and implement improvements to QA processes, tools, and workflows.
• Advocate for quality at every stage of development.
• Provide guidance and support to team members on testing processes and methodologies.
• Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging testing methodologies.

What you’ll bring

• 2+ years of experience as a QA Automation engineer.
• Experience with test planning, test case design, and test execution.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools, preferably WebdriverIO, and a good understanding of Javascript.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks, such as Cucumber, to define and execute tests.
• Good understanding of QA proceses, methodologies and best practices.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems (e.g., TestLodge, TestRail or similar).
• Intermediate programming language skills.
• You should be comfortable with long-form writing. As a fully remote company, articulate and efficient asynchronous communication is vital.

English is a must. We are a multicultural team, and we are providing a service in English so, we don't care about certificates, but we expect you to be able to communicate fluently.
