By developing and delivering impactful training programs, you will play a critical role in fostering safer schools and helping every child feel secure and supported.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Trainer to join our collaborative and quality-driven Curriculum & Instruction team. Reporting to the Lead Professional Development Coach, this role involves delivering high-impact virtual and in-person training on our suite of products. The Trainer will also play a key role in developing systems and processes to support our professional development goals, ensuring continuous improvement and progress tracking.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PK–12 education, professional development, coaching, and district-wide program implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders and subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop programs aligned with strategic goals.
  • Design and deliver engaging and effective training that accommodates diverse learning styles and experience levels.
  • Conduct training assessments, identify knowledge gaps, and implement tailored learning plans.
  • Evaluate and refine training programs based on participant feedback and data insights.
  • Develop and manage training schedules, ensuring seamless and timely delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in PK–12 professional development, with a proven track record of designing and delivering impactful training programs.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Zoom, Asana, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects effectively.
  • Experience utilizing various training methodologies, including e-learning, virtual delivery, and instructor-led training.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with subject matter experts, managers, and key stakeholders.
  • Understanding of adult learning principles and their application in training program design and delivery.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% of the time.

Normal Working Hours and Conditions:  Core business hours are generally 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.  However, this position will require work to be performed outside of normal business hours based on Company operations. 

Physical Requirements:  Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting including verbally communicating, seeing and hearing to exchange information and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard.  Daily physical functions include standing, sitting and walking for prolonged periods of time and occasionally stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and twisting.  The employee may engage in lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling light to moderate amounts of weight up to 25 pounds.  The position also requires the operation of office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement.
