Your career is an investment that grows over time!

Wealthsimple is on a mission to help everyone achieve financial freedom by reimagining what it means to manage your money. Using smart technology, we take financial services that are often confusing, opaque and expensive and make them transparent and low-cost for everyone. We’re the largest fintech company in Canada, with over 4 million users who trust us with more than $50 billion in assets.

Our teams ship often and make an impact with groundbreaking ideas. We're looking for talented people who keep it simple and value collaboration and humility as we continue to create inclusive and high-performing teams where people can be inspired to do their best work.

About the Workflow Optimization Team

We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as the Senior Manager of Workflow Optimization, spearheading an organization-wide initiative to optimize end-to-end workflows across our CXO (Customer Experience and Operations) function. This pivotal role is instrumental in driving transformative change, enhancing operational efficiency, elevating customer satisfaction, and delivering measurable business outcomes.

About the Senior Manager, Workflow Optimization Role
  • As the Senior Manager of Workflow Optimization, you will be a strategic architect and influencer, leading a high-impact program to identify, prioritize, and implement business transformation initiatives
  • Your primary focus will be on aligning cross-functional teams to drive holistic improvements that span upstream and downstream processes, creating a seamless and efficient workflow ecosystem
  • In this capacity, you will shape the vision, provide executive-level direction, and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

  • As a Senior Manager, Workflow Optimization, you will:
  • Define and drive our operations transformation: Establish and lead a CXO-wide program aimed at reimagining workflows across client-facing and back-office teams. Develop a clear roadmap for transformation, ensuring alignment with CXO and organizational priorities.
  • Influence and align stakeholders: Partner with senior leaders across CXO R&D, and other cross-functional teams to advocate for and drive workflow optimization initiatives. Build consensus on priorities, secure resources, and align diverse teams toward common goals
  • Lead structured, data-driven decision making: Design and oversee robust rituals and reporting mechanisms to monitor progress, evaluate impact, and hold stakeholders accountable. Leverage data insights to make informed decisions and continuously refine strategies
  • Architect and execute end-to-end solutions: Lead efforts to re-engineer processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and reduce internal handoffs. Focus on optimizing workflows to enhance both employee and customer experiences.
  • Champion innovation: Apply a forward-thinking mindset to identify and leverage emerging technologies, such as AI and automation, to streamline operations and deliver cutting-edge solutions.
  • Lead Through Others: Build and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence. Develop team members into future leaders by providing coaching and strategic guidance.

  • You have:
  • Extensive Leadership Experience: 10+ years of experience in process re-design, business transformation, or workflow optimization, with a proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and managing high-performing teams
  • Strategic Influence and Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior leaders across functions, driving alignment and securing commitment to initiatives that span multiple business areas
  • Visionary Thinking: A strong ability to think strategically and holistically about complex processes, recognizing upstream and downstream impacts and balancing multiple inputs and factors
  • Executional Excellence: Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives from inception to implementation.
  • Innovative Problem-Solving: A creative approach to challenges, leveraging both technical expertise and a willingness to experiment with new tools and methodologies
  • Technical Acumen: A strong understanding of systems configuration, technical possibilities, and emerging technologies, enabling the development of innovative, scalable solutions
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Proven ability to convey complex ideas and strategies clearly and persuasively to senior leaders and diverse audiences
  • Impact-Driven Mindset: A relentless focus on delivering measurable results that improve both the employee and customer experience.
