Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls with enthusiasm, assisting customers in selecting the perfect floral arrangements for their needs
  
• Process web orders efficiently, ensuring accurate input into our main POS system
  
• Provide expert product information, guiding customers through our diverse range of flowers and gift options
  
• Direct orders to the appropriate store location based on delivery addresses, optimizing our local delivery network
  
• Coordinate out-of-state orders with partner shops, expanding our reach beyond California
  
• Manage high call volumes during peak seasons, especially around holidays like Valentine’s Day, with poise and efficiency
  
• Utilize our web-based systems and Google Sheets for seamless order processing and data management
  
• Offer creative suggestions to male customers seeking advice on floral gifts, enhancing their shopping experience
  

Requirements

• Excellent English communication skills, with a friendly and professional phone manner
  
• Previous experience in customer service or order-taking, preferably in retail or e-commerce
  
• Proficiency in using computers, web-based applications, and Google Sheets
  
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations with calm efficiency
  
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy to ensure flawless order fulfillment
  
• Availability to work 40 hours per week, including weekends, to support our seven-day operation
  
• Passion for flowers and gift-giving, with a knack for understanding and meeting customer needs
  
• Adaptability to learn new systems quickly and stay updated on product offerings and promotions
