Job description

Holman has an outstanding opportunity for a SAP FICA Analyst to join the team.
 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports application software and performs application upgrades following established procedures.
  • Provisions new users and administrator users access rights to applications/systems.
  • Installs application patches following established procedures.
  • Troubleshoots, identifies and solves technical problems.
  • Interfaces with vendors, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure timely problem resolution.
  • Maintain system/application documentation and operational procedures.
  • Monitors and manages application availability, capacity and performance based on established performance metrics.
  • Review all alerts for accuracy and takes steps to re-mediate the issue.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting and supporting end user / business team issues connecting to or using applications/systems.
  • Responsible for moving changes submitted by developers between Dev, QA, Production.
  • Responsible for testing changes submitted by developers and coordinating business acceptance testing and approval.
  • Responsible for DR planning and testing of assigned applications/systems.
  • Develops system standards and procedures.
  • Develops and distributes application documentation for support and for end user reference.
  • Works with development teams to test and approve modifications to applications.
  • Works with out of box application modules/ tools to develop support business requests.
  • Trains and mentors other team members.
  • Performs system tuning and capacity planning and makes recommendations for improvement.
  • Leads application/system planning for new implementations, upgrades, enhancements, projects.
  • Evaluates new modules/products and makes recommendations.
  • Works with development teams to develop strategies and direction for applications/systems.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Relevant Work Experience:

  • Seven + years’ experience supporting IT Systems/Applications.
  • Solid proficiency with automation tools and architecture (Tosca) (2+ yrs)
  • Must be able to work in a 24 hour on-call capacity.
  • Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, IIS
  • Must be capable of logical thinking and stepping methodically through a process for trouble shooting/research
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP, DNS, FTP, SSL.
  • Solid understanding of network and database technologies (MS SQL, Oracle).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages and programming methodologies.

Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $81,210.00 - $117,760.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay earnings.
