Technical Solutions Architect

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will join a European engineering team in an international company with >22,000 employees. On a daily basis you will guide innovation by applying your technical knowledge to help creating solutions for our customers.

Technical Solutions Architect at Arrow typically focuses on:

  • The leading technical resource as part of a selling team

  • Contributing to multiple customer projects serving as a subject matter expert

  • Helping to develop, engineer and choose the right technologies and components for customer designs

  • Building relationships with our Sales Team helping customers and partners understand, adopt, and deploy a solution stack to solve their business problems

  • Providing support to other Engineers in the team based on areas of expertise and domain knowledge

  • Committed to continual professional development, including technical certifications with some of our leading technology partners, including Intel, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Dell, HPE and others

  • Visiting customers in UK and Ireland, and occasionally elsewhere in Europe

  • Working closely with the European Integration Centre team located in Budapest, as the interface between our customers and New Product Introduction team

  • Building and managing Bill of Materials for the designs that we produce

A FEW THINGS YOU’RE AN EXPERT AT

  • Knowledge of Server/ PC systems, networking architecture and storage

  • An understanding of Windows and/or Linux Operating Systems

  • You are always curious to learn more about innovative technology that can change our way of living

  • An understanding of design, development and integration processes

  • You enjoy communicating at all levels with customers, partners, and the wider Arrow organisation – having strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Results-oriented, proactive, confident under pressure and demonstrated skills in solution selling
