The Need
For 25 years, IJM has pioneered the work to protect vulnerable people from violence.
As IJM continues this trajectory of growth and scaling of its impact, IJM’s Signature Events team is seeking an enthusiastic and agile team member to support the team in executing events that create explosive and scalable revenue growth. This individual will support our Signature Events team to provide the necessary project management and logistical excellence for Signature Events.
This position is hybrid (onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays) if located in the Washington, DC area or remote for non-local candidates. It reports to the Global Vice President, Marketing & Communications and is only available for candidates with the right to work in the US.
Responsibilities
Events and Logistics
Create and lead the processes for executing on all operational logistics across Signature Events;
Manage the distribution of print and event materials via shipping to ensure projects are well executed;
Travel occasionally to manage and support IJMs presence at Signature Events;
Support the Signature Events team, under the direction of the Director, in the creation of briefs, reports and necessary details to ensure meetings are well executed; and
Ensure event webpages are up to date and functioning.
Documentation, Reporting & Data Management
Monitor, track and report on Signature Events;
Develop new ways for the team to report, thank and engage key partners;
Manage all contracts and invoice process and maintain the library of contracts and invoices; and
Keep partnership documents, processes and communications up to date.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in related field (communication, marketing, etc);
Understanding of all platforms (digital, web, print, event, etc) utilized for marketing; and
Strong written and oral communication skills.

*What is a statement of faith?
A statement of faith should describe your Christian faith and how you see it as relevant to your involvement with IJM. The statement can either be incorporated into the cover letter or submitted as a separate document and should include, at a minimum, a description of your spiritual disciplines (prayer, study, etc.) and your current fellowship or place of worship.
