Job Title: Solutions Architect

Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and govern an enterprise system governance implementation roadmap including strategic priorities for development of information-based capabilities for the enterprise as well as migration of services.
- Work directly with stakeholders to comprehend solution problems and identify opportunities
- Work together with a team of application developers, engineers, and designers to deliver innovative technology solutions using on-premise, AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud services
- Responsible for collecting and defining technical requirements to enable business process and integrations
- Establish an approximate level-of-effort and staffing requirements for complex development projects
- Lead the team of engineers and IT specialists to design effective, efficient, scalable, and secure applications within the organization's Cloud and on-premises software platform
- Ensure that solutions created by the development team stick to technical architecture standards
- Responsible for writing and reviewing standards, code and also contributing to all technical discussions and architecture planning
- Note down and maintain clear documentation and standards for cloud operations in the organization
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technology trends and promote an environment of learning
- Responsible for monitoring the production environment and advance the obtainable monitoring setup as needed
- Sustain performance and availability of production systems in the AWS or Azure Government and Commercial cloud infrastructures to achieve optimal uptime.
Required Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelors or master's in computer science, MIS, or Information Management or equivalent years of work experience
- Experience/Skills:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a major services organization, with large-scale or project management and oversight experience.
- 8+ years in a Solutions Architect role, with transformation leadership experience.
- Knowledge of industry leading data quality and data protection management practices
- Knowledge of governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to cyber security and data protection
- Knowledge of data related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues
- Demonstrated consulting skills, with change management concepts and strategies, including communication, culture change and performance measurement system design
- Knowledge of risk data architecture and technology solutions
- Internally and externally recognized subject matter expert that influence the way things are done

- Preferred expert knowledge in Microsoft Azure Cloud data offerings and usage.
Salary and Benefit Information:
The likely salary range for this position is $97,000 - $132,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
