Job description

Promova is a one-stop language learning platform that includes a mobile app, conversation clubs, group classes and one-to-one lessons with tutors. We have a popular website, media presence, and active socials. Our app has been downloaded more than 16 million times, and our learners completed over 35 million lessons over the last few years. Our goal for the next 2 years is to secure a spot among top 5 online language learning services worldwide. Looking ahead, within the next five years, we want to achieve the status of a unicorn company with Ukrainian roots!

We are excited to welcome a Lead/Head of Product to the Promova team! In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving our product vision, strategy, and execution to ensure we continue delivering exceptional experiences to our users.

About You

We’re looking for a motivated professional with the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role for a B2C mobile application.
  • Deep understanding of mobile app development and design principles.
  • Strong analytical background with proficiency in tools like Tableau, Amplitude, and Google Analytics (GA).
  • Solid understanding of AI/ML, with a proven track record of developing successful AI-powered features.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies to drive efficient product development cycles.
  • Working knowledge of App Store Optimization (ASO) and user acquisition strategies.
Your Areas of Impact

As the Lead/Head of Product, your key responsibilities include:

  • Drive the execution of the product strategy, ensuring initiatives align with business and operational goals.
  • Lead and oversee the execution of the product roadmap, backlog management, and performance control metrics.
  • Drive the product development process, from feature ideation and prioritization to product launch and impact measurement.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of five high-performing product managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with design and development teams, ensuring the creation of intuitive, scalable, and visually appealing user experiences.
  • Work in close coordination with the acquisition team, synergizing activities to analyze market trends, ensure product-market fit, and empower marketing performance with a strong product offering.
  • Leverage analytics to track product performance and user engagement metrics, driving continuous improvements.
  • Present product strategies, updates, and results to C-level executives and investors as needed.
