What you’ll do:
The Sales Excellence Manager for Outbound plays a key role in developing, implementing, and reinforcing eHealth’s Outbound Sales philosophies and best practices. This leadership position is responsible for effectively leading and developing outbound call strategies to grow Medicare, Employer, Individual, and Retention across all of eHealth. This position requires collaborating with all departments within eHealth at all levels. The goal of the Sales Excellence Manager for Outbound is to influence positive changes in the outbound sales process and how agents are coached on this process through a diligent and consistent approach.
You must currently be in a supervisory or leadership role to be considered.
Who you are:
- Strong presentation skills, experience presenting to groups of advisors up to C-Suite
- Stay informed through continued education of latest B2C and B2B sales techniques and philosophies. Outbound pipelining focus.
- Maintain and continuously build upon knowledge of the psychology of selling and coaching.
- Maintain knowledge through continued education/training of all applicable Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) regulatory guidance with the ability to interpret and communicate to others in layman’s terms.
- Facilitate and effectively lead several weekly Sales call calibration sessions with Sales Leaders and members of Sales Excellence Support team.
- Create sales training for leadership development, sales coaching, and advanced sales techniques.
- Maintain good working relationships with peers, sales leadership, and all eHealth departments
- Participate in developing a comprehensive sales process improvement plan designed to achieve goals and objectives for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of individual sales.
- Collaborate with other members of the team to identify and propagate best coaching and sales practices.
- Demonstrate eHealth’s values in your behaviors, practices, and decisions.
Who you are:
- You have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, business administration or related field.
- You must have a current Life/Health insurance license, this is required.
- You have 1 to 3 years’ experience in progressively responsible sales positions with individual government funded products.
- You have at least, 1 to 3 years Supervisory experience within a managed care organization, health insurance carrier, third party administrator or related industry.
- You have knowledge of CMS rules and regulations.
- You have an equivalent combination of education and sales/account management experience will be considered.
- You have experience with Video and Media editing, this is a plus!
- You are experienced with utilizing PowerPoint creation and execution
- You have a high level of competence in Microsoft products, MS Teams, Outlook, Excel and Word.

The base pay range reflects the anticipated pay range for this position. The actual base pay offered will depend on various factors including individual skills, experience, performance, qualifications, the department budget, and the location where work is performed. Base pay is one component of eHealth’s total rewards package, which also includes an annual performance bonus, plus an array of benefits designed to support employees’ personal and professional wellness.
