Senior Full-Stack Engineer (DevXP)

The Engineering team builds the software powering Veriff. We're cracking the online identity crisis in a scalable way, deploying excellence to keep Veriff on the cusp of innovation. It's a fast-paced market with many challenges. Now, we're seeking an experienced team member to join our Developer Experience (DevXP) team, which crafts the foundational platform, software, tools, and scripts that drive Veriff's mission. 

The Developer Experience team ensures the smooth functioning of our deployment platform, tools, frameworks, and environments across various products. Everything this team develops is integral to Veriff, interconnected with every other aspect of the company. The team has ambitious plans ahead and is looking for someone experienced to join and contribute frontend excellence.

You’ll help us protect honest people online by:

• Taking ownership of all frontend-related topics owned by DevXP.
• Taking ownership of the Veriff Backstage Software Catalog and Developer Platform instance, including its backend.
• Ensuring that all UIs for development tooling work correctly and follow best practices.
• Acting as an advocate for best practices in frontend development within the company, influencing and supporting teams to adopt best practices, and hosting the company-wide Frontend Guild.
• Identifying and advocating the use of new technologies, libraries, tools, and best practices within the team and across Veriff.
• Collaborating with other engineers both inside and outside the team to find solutions to complex problems.
• Helping DevXP support various frontend/UI-related initiatives with other engineering teams. 

You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have:

• Experience with TypeScript in both frontend (React.js) and backend (Node.js)
• Prior experience with microservices architecture, REST API, WebSocket, database design, SQL, and CI/CD.
• A good command of English and great communication skills.
• A high level of self-organization, ownership, and responsibility.
• Comfort with rapid and agile development cycles.
• The ability to create user-friendly results without designated designer support.

You’re an especially awesome match if you have:

• Experience with Golang (backend), Python (backend, tools, and scripts), Kubernetes + Terraform (infrastructure).
• Big data visualization and representation skills (a plus).
