Position Overview:

As a Java Developer, you will work closely with our engineering team to build and enhance our state-of-the-art user engagement monitoring system. We are in the process of rewriting our internal systems to better analyze engagement metrics and eventually make automated decisions. This role offers the opportunity to work on interesting and challenging projects using technologies like Java, Spring, Hibernate, and QueryDSL.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain back-end services primarily using Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Contribute to the front-end development using React.
• Work on our user engagement monitoring system to improve its performance and scalability.
• Implement new features and enhancements to support automated decision-making based on user engagement metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and integrate systems.
• Write efficient, maintainable code following best practices.

You are a perfect fit for us if:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Experience with Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
• Knowledge of SQL; experience with QueryDSL is a plus but not mandatory
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in English.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in a marketing technology environment.

• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud services.
