About The Role:

About the Role:
Gen3 seeks a dynamic Cyber Program Manager to lead and oversee a critical cybersecurity program focused on vulnerability compliance, risk management, and execution. This role requires strong leadership skills, broad expertise in cybersecurity strategy, and the ability to drive program development and implementation in collaboration with subject matter experts.

Location: Remote, US (Candidates local to Washington, DC preferred).

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive framework for vulnerability compliance and remediation.
  • Oversee program execution, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Provide leadership in risk management, vulnerability remediation, and continuous monitoring strategies.
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to meet organizational goals.
  • Prepare and present program updates and reports to government stakeholders.
  • Facilitate training and knowledge transfer to build team expertise.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with IT governance and compliance standards.
  • Lead a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and accountability.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Previous experience supporting federal or state agencies is highly desired.
  • Proven leadership and project management capabilities in cybersecurity programs.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity vulnerability and risk assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Those selected for this role may undergo a government security investigation and must meet the eligibility criteria for accessing classified information or be eligible for security clearances.
