The  Opportunity
Experience:  1-2 years in comic content creation or related fields
Role: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write 3-4 articles daily focused on comic books, graphic novels, Marvel, DC & Other superhero universes and webcomics.

  • Cover the latest comic book news, from story arcs and character developments to controversies and social media trends.

  • Provide insightful analysis of new releases, storylines, and characters while maintaining an understanding of comic lore.

  • Monitor trends in the comic book industry, including upcoming releases, adaptations (films/TV), and social media discussions.

  • Pitch story ideas that cater to comic fans, offering fresh angles and in-depth looks into the comic world.

  • Stay updated on Google Trends and social media platforms to highlight real-time news related to comics.

  • Write and edit engaging content, always keeping deadlines and publication schedules in mind.

  • Collaborate with the editorial team to refine your articles and ensure quality and accuracy.

  • Cover live updates and create real-time coverage when comic book-related events (like new issue drops or interviews) happen.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in English/Journalism/Media Studies (preferred but not required).

  • At least 2 years of experience in writing entertainment or comic-related content.

  • Deep understanding of comic book terminology and lore.

  • An avid fan of comics with a solid understanding of different comic genres (superhero comics, indie comics, comic strips, graphic novels, etc.).

  • Excellent ability to manage time and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong writing skills with the ability to create clear, engaging, and well-researched content.
