What success looks like in this role:
As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a key role in leading large-scale data center migration and modernization projects. You will work closely with stakeholders to design, deliver, and implement technology solutions that align with organizational goals. This position requires extensive experience in cloud architecture, database management, networking, and public sector IT environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end planning and execution of data center migration projects.
Assess existing IT infrastructure and create detailed migration roadmaps.
Ensure minimal disruption to operations during migration activities.
Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
Develop hybrid and multi-cloud strategies tailored to organizational needs.
Guide the adoption of cloud-native technologies and best practices.
Oversee the delivery of IT solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Provide expert guidance on database migration, optimization, and management.
Design and implement robust networking solutions to support modernized data center operations.
Understand and address the unique regulatory, compliance, and security requirements of public sector IT projects.
Serve as a trusted advisor to public sector stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, including 5+ years focused on data center migration and cloud architecture.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and networking technologies.
- Familiarity with public sector procurement processes, compliance standards, and security frameworks.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Government background check and clearance may be required.
