The Role:
An exciting internship opportunity has opened at Black Swan Data. As an intern within our Cape Town Insight Hub, you will play a supporting role in delivering market research projects. You’ll gain the necessary experience and skills to support the Insights team in delivering these projects utilizing both quantitative and qualitative research techniques on social datasets to identify important trends and understand consumers’ shifting interests.
You’ll experience how our Insights team works in collaboration with our client teams in Cape Town, London & New York, to successfully deliver high-quality insight consulting across a diverse range of client projects.
This role presents an opportunity to build your consumer insights skills in addressing captivating client issues, and expanding your knowledge of how social data can revolutionize traditional research approaches. You will engage in a creative research process where analytical rigor is just as important as curiosity about the world, all within a dynamic team and company.
At the end of your internship there is the opportunity to progress onto Black Swan Data’s Insights Accelerator Programme. The Accelerator Programme provides top talent, with an aptitude for delivering consumer insights, an opportunity to progress along a defined career path within Black Swan Data and the Insights team.
The first step of the Accelerator Programme is the Insights Internship and upon successful completion, there is great potential to move to the next phases of the programme, moving into the Insights Associates phase (levels II and III), and then onto the Insights Consultants phase (levels I, II and III). You have the opportunity, potentially within as little 3 years, to become a well-rounded, experienced insights consultant, capable of delivering consumer insights projects for high-profile, industry leading global brands.
