Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic US Sales Operations Director to lead the development, implementation, and optimization of our global sales operation functions. The US Sales Operations Director will be responsible for driving sales performance, aligning sales strategies with business goals, and creating operational efficiencies across our global sales organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations, process optimization, data analytics, and leadership, with experience in managing large, complex sales organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development & Execution
- Develop and manage sales operations strategies aligned with overall business objectives, including sales planning, forecasting and POS attainment.
- Collaborate with sales leadership and key business partners to ensure consistency across all regions and markets with the implementation of the Sales Excellence operating model.
Sales Process Optimization
- Help to execute processes that drive operational efficiency and remove bottlenecks to improve sales productivity.
- Establish best practices for global sales operations processes and workflows, ensuring consistency across regions while considering local nuances.
Performance Management & Reporting
- Design and manage sales performance metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to track sales effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Drive forecasting accuracy, sales pipeline management, and territory planning to meet revenue targets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with demand planning, finance, strategic sales, and strategic operations teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
- Serve as a key liaison between the sales team and other internal stakeholders to drive alignment and resolution of any operational challenges.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a sales operations team capable of supporting the evolving needs of the sales organization.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10+ years of major account P&L sales management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing global sales operations functions and teams across multiple regions.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and forecasting techniques.
- Prior experience in sales with consumer products/consumer durables is preferred.
