JOB SUMMARY:

We’re looking for a vibrant and hands-on Event Networking Manager to elevate our presence and build a thriving community around our events. If you enjoy connecting with people, hosting memorable experiences, and growing communities, this is your opportunity to make an impact in the exciting world of VR and tech.

This role is ideal for a passionate networker and storyteller who thrives on building connections. You'll create unforgettable events, unite industry leaders and creators, and boost engagement for DeoVR.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop strategies to grow and maintain a strong community of event participants and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the team (Event Manager, DeoVR Account Manager) to organize and execute different styles of events—from cozy gatherings (20-30 people) to large-scale (up to 100 people) for DeoVR and Infomediji
  • Be the face of our events, effortlessly engaging with attendees, moderating discussions, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
  • Create meaningful networking opportunities that leave participants inspired and connected, both during and after events
  • Personalize the event experience based on attendee profiles and interests
  • Prioritize quality over quantity when attracting attendees, focusing on valuable participants
  • Strategically market events across social media, online forums, and other platforms to attract the right audiences
  • Measure community growth, retention rates, and event satisfaction while continuously improving based on feedback
  • Manage post-event activities, including gathering feedback, measuring success, and identifying areas for improvement
YOUR PROFILE:
  • Strong background in event management and community building with a track record of successful gatherings, from small meetups to larger events
  • A natural host and communicator, confident in engaging, networking and leading audiences
  • Experience in digital marketing and promoting events across social media and other relevant communication platforms
  • Passionate about tech, VR, and building the creator economy
  • Driven to create memorable experiences and elevating brand presence
  • Long-term vision for nurturing and expanding a community, ensuring growth and keeping members engaged
  • Flexibility to travel for business trips globally (US, Europe mostly, LATAM, Asia occasionally) every few months to support events
