JOB SUMMARY
The Data Reporting Specialist will be part of the Data Reporting & Analytics Reporting team supporting a variety of statistical & compliance data reporting, data management, and business intelligence initiatives. This role will support and enhance critical data reporting process flows and play a key technical role in transforming data usage landscape.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support statistical data reporting workflow ensuring successful automating, collection, preparation, and submission of data
- Assist in understanding data call requirements including: extract, prepare, and provide data required for regulatory reporting to the Compliance department
- Assist in designing, developing, and implementing effective processes, reports, and other tools to report data and improve data quality
- Perform analyses, extract insights, make recommendations and design intuitive dashboards and reports to deliver those insights
- Develops fundamental understanding of core business to effectively collaborate with partners across the organization in identifying opportunities to develop and implement BI reporting solutions
- Support data management and data warehouse initiatives by collaborating with IT, end-users, and external business partners to identify, triage, and resolve data and/or processing issues
- Develop and continuously improve processes, procedures, and best practices across the department
- Review, analyze and summarize data to help identify and communicate issues, including scope and root cause
- Analyzes business issues and deliverables to create requirements and specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements
- Creates reports, dashboards and extracts for a variety of customers using established tools and data sources. Leverages a wide set of analytical skills to answer ad-hoc and timely data-driven questions for executives, finance operations, and service-line leaders.
- Lead efforts to contextualize and provide easy access to data for different operational business functions within the organization
- Enhance operational efficiency through leveraging tools and technology to automate data capture and improve business intelligence capabilities
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Associate degree in business or related field. Equivalent industry experience may be considered
- 3+ years of experience in a data analysis role or related functional business experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) and advanced working knowledge of Excel
- Ability to establish positive relationships, work effectively across the organization, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Preferred
- Proficient in developing and executing SQL queries for reporting, data extracts, and troubleshooting highly desired
- Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate and Power Apps, highly desired
Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $80,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $95,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
