QA Automation Engineer

The Company

Lottomart Games is a rapidly growing jackpot entertainment brand offering players the best in slots, progressives, live games, table games, instants, lottery betting and exclusive scratchcards. We've been live since 2019 but still consider ourselves a start-up at heart; there's plenty to go and tons of opportunity for talented people to progress quickly. We're small for now but with big ambitions. 

Behind the name, we’ve built a bespoke platform and tools that allow us to continue exceeding players’ expectations, and that keep our own processes running efficiently.  Our fast-growing player base demands a lot from Lottomart, and we’re looking for the right people to help take our customer offering and our in-house systems to the next level.

The Role

To help us scale even further, we want the right people to bring QA experience and industry best practices to our team.  This role will be an integral part of a high-performing team that delivers best-in-class software products.

Responsibilities

Core

• Work as part of a cross functional Scrum team that delivers features and solutions that exceed our customers’ expectations
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies such as planning, reviews and retrospectives
• Execute manual and automated testing for feature verification and regression
• Develop automated acceptance test cases
• Contribute to a test suite as part of a CI/CD pipeline to be used by the whole team
• Work with development to create testable, high-quality software

Strategic

• Work with QA colleagues to influence quality process improvements
• Grow as a valued team member by increasing your product knowledge and skill set to enhance Lottomart’s product quality
• Contribute to continuous improvement of all aspects of software delivery

Requirements

You should:

• Have proven experience in a QA role
• Have exposure to QA automation testing
• Have experience testing RESTful APIs
• Be familiar with one of Selenium, TestCafe, Cypress, WebdriverIO or similar for testing Angular, React or other modern JavaScript frameworks
• Be comfortable with Git, Linux command line and Docker
• Have worked within an agile software development process e.g. Scrum

We are happy to speak to candidates who are based in Gibraltar, who can be based in our office. Alternatively, we are open to speaking with candidates based in mainland Europe, who are looking for fully remote roles.  We are unable to progress candidates based outside of Europe at this time.
