Arrowhead Automotive Aftermarket is looking for an Underwriting Technical Assistant to join our team. This position will support the Binding Authority Underwriters by reviewing applications, inspections, and other pertinent information to evaluate, classify, and rate.

JOB DUTIES:
Examines documents such as application forms, inspection reports, insurance maps, and any other relevant reports to determine degree of risk.
Works with Binding Authority Underwriters when underwriting new and renewal risks, ensuring that all required information is obtained, proper applications are complete, quotes and binders are confirmed in writing, policies are issued promptly and accurately, state filings where applicable are made, and taxes are paid according to appropriate state laws.
Coordinates and corresponds with other internal and external departments via phone, mail, and e-mail to respond to questions, investigates and resolve issues, and follows up on outstanding items.
Ensures all correspondence and requests are documented and attached to the appropriate file.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent and two to three years related experience in the insurance industry and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Have high levels of accuracy along with a specific focus on timeliness, productivity, and quality.
Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Have strong organizational skills and be detail oriented.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Must be comfortable working in a high volume, production environment.

Pay Range
$20.43 - $26.68 Hourly
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
