Principal Product Designer (Customer Journeys)

Location: Prague

We are hiring a Sr. Principal Product Designer, Customer Journeys to join our team.

You will be coming from a tech/digital product company and demonstrate successful design outcomes. We look for a strong portfolio showcasing strategic product thinking and high design craft for B2C products.

We love to work together and collaborate in our teams, which is why we opted for a hybrid model, allowing us to work from the office 2-3 times per week.

Mission and Goals

Short-Term Goals:

  • Take broad, conceptual ideas, based on user research and data, and turn them into something useful and valuable for our users.
  • Design new experiences or layouts that evolve and define our design system.
  • Deliver customer-centric and data-informed experiences that are meaningful, cohesive, accessible, and usable.

Long-Term Goals:

  • Oversee all aspects of design, including interaction design, information architecture, and visual design, to execute business strategy and vision.
  • Own the overall experience and collaborate closely with product and engineering peers to ensure we are building products that customers need and love.
  • Represent design work to broader product teams and leaders, clearly articulating goals and concepts.

Objectives
  • Shape key customer experiences by crafting simple, user-friendly designs that solve real-world problems.
  • Develop and execute designs that align with user research and data insights.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to define problems and design solutions.
  • Conduct user testing and gather feedback to enhance the user experience.
  • Drive the development of a cohesive design system that evolves with business needs.
  • Stay updated on market trends and trail-blazing experiences to inform design strategies.

Technical Skills:

  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other collaboration tools.
  • Ability to design for end-to-end experiences across various platforms.
  • Design Experience:
  • Experience in developing product goals and identifying opportunities for user-centered solutions.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing strategic product thinking and high design craft for B2C products.
  • Experience building and shipping features that encompass an end-to-end experience.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to represent work to broader teams and leaders.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in geographically distributed teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a solution-oriented approach.

Additional Attributes:

  • Passionate and humble with a curious mindset.
  • Commercially savvy with a head for technology.
  • Experience in the cybersecurity industry is a plus, but not essential.
