Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Staff Accountant. In this role, you will assist with various accounting tasks, including invoice approvals and routing, setting up online utility portals for bill pay, and supporting QuickBooks adjustments for Financial Accountants. You will also assist with Deficit Funding requests, track progress, and contribute to other accounting processes.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently. You should have a solid understanding of accounting principles and a proven track record of supporting accounting functions. Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint is essential. Familiarity with Strongroom and AvidXchange is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with invoice approvals and routing.
• Help set up online utility portals for bill pay.
• Support QuickBooks adjustments for Financial Accountants.
• Assist with Deficit Funding requests and track their progress.
• Process and clean up purchase orders in QuickBooks.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure timely completion of financial tasks.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Strongroom and AvidXchange is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working for a U.S.-based company is a plus.
