About the Role

Clutch is on a mission to transform Credit Unions into FinTechs, making them their members’ first choice.

Branches have been the cornerstone of banking for decades. As credit unions undergo digital transformation, they need a connected omnichannel experience to deliver a best-in-class service to their members—“meeting them where they are.”

Clutch began by revolutionizing the digital experience to drive loan growth and automation. We’ve now expanded to an omnichannel solution for branches and call centers. This new product is in its early stages, focused on achieving product-market fit. Your role will be pivotal in bringing Clutch’s cutting-edge technology to physical branches and call centers, saving Credit Union members over 200,000 hours annually while creating intuitive, employee-focused tools that rival the best consumer products.

We’re seeking a super-IC with exceptional B2B experience to rapidly onboard and lead this product. If you excel in ambiguous environments, can drive strong product direction with urgency and momentum, and thrive in discovery-heavy roles, this is your opportunity.

Joining Product team at Clutch means working with a high-caliber team of alumni from institutions like Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, and Princeton. Our team brings deep experience in founding startups, launching new bets, and scaling products at growth-stage companies.

What You'll Do

Within 3 months, you will:

  • Rapidly onboard and master Clutch’s products, processes, and customer landscape.

  • Take ownership of in-flight product initiatives, driving pace and momentum in a fast-evolving fintech environment.

  • Collaborate with three innovation partners to lead the design partnership program, delivering strong product direction.

  • Visit credit union branches every two weeks to gather feedback from employees, iterating the product toward product-market fit.

  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to craft a GTM strategy, including early demos, product positioning, pricing, and launch plans for a connected product ecosystem.

  • Iterate on the product to achieve monetization goals for the year.

Within 6 months, you will:

  • Enable the Sales team to effectively sell the product and meet annual monetization goals.

  • Launch strategic, cross-channel features that enhance lending and account opening for branches and call centers.

  • Establish yourself as a trusted partner across Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales.

Within 9 months, you will:

  • Lay the foundation for scaling the product to meet growing demand.

  • Partner with Implementation Engineering to develop a plan for 50+ deployments, ensuring smooth scaling and adoption.

What You'll Bring

Ownership and a bar-raiser mindset, along with:

  • Proven experience navigating high ambiguity in mid-stage, scaling B2B environments.

  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, negotiate, and drive outcomes with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Customer-first mindset and the ability to act as a solutions specialist, Customer Success Manager, or Implementation Engineer during early product stages while leveraging organizational support.

  • Clear, concise, and compelling communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.

  • A bias for action: the ability to set pace and momentum, driving rapid delivery without compromising on quality or team well-being.

  • Strategic thinking and product chops, with a track record of iterating toward product-market fit.

  • Nice to have: Experience in fintech or lending
