About the Role:

We’re looking for an Agency Management Specialist on our rapidly growing Business Development team, where you will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with the Business Development team, Underwriters, and external partners. You will be the first point of contact for our low touch agencies and help the Business Development team complete business critical tasks. Your technical and communication skills will directly contribute to the company’s top line goals. We are looking for an ambitious critical thinker who asks why and offers thoughtful solutions to everyday obstacles.

We’re a distributed team spread across the US and India, with offices in San Francisco, CA & Columbus, OH. 

What you’ll do:

  • Resolve inquiries from agents, brokers, and insureds, acting as the first point of contact for low touch agencies

  • Assist in onboarding new agencies, offices, and agents, ensuring seamless transitions with clear expectations

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to create and manage troubleshooting/problem resolution SOPs

  • Coordinate regular Salesforce updates including agency profile details and roster changes

  • Monitor compliance and assist in updating required agency/producer licensing documentation

  • Triage Business Development inbox inquiries

  • Support the Business Development team in managing growth initiatives. Ex: Engage producers on submission follow-up, book reviews

  • Work with the Business Operations team to monitor/report out on incentive programs

About you:

  • 2-3 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in the transportation segment

  • Exceptional attention to detail  

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal & external stakeholders

  • Self-starter who independently seeks out opportunities to learn and succeed

  • Continuous improvement mindset by consistently looking for ways to elevate how the work is done. You challenge the status quo, focusing on driving efficiency and improvements that scale with the business

  • Bias-to-action - you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty and stretch yourself

  • Owner mentality - take accountability for your actions and results

  • Successfully able to work in high-growth, ambiguous environments

  • College degree preferred but not required
