Job Summary
RPA is seeking an Assistant Media Planner to join the Digital Media Planning team on the American Honda Motors Team. As an Assistant Media Planner, you will assist the digital team with media planning, recurring client deliverables, reporting, and coordinating across inter/intra-agency teams.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Conducting media landscape research and supporting campaign planning, including RFP processes and brainstorming sessions
- Preparing and managing campaign materials such as insertion orders (IOs), trafficking sheets, and specifications while coordinating with creative agencies.
- Pulling and analyzing campaign performance data, ensuring accuracy through collaboration with internal and external teams, and validating aggregated results.
- Monitoring campaign pacing to align with plans and client goals, assisting with reconciliation and monthly billing.
- Facilitating day-to-day communication between internal teams and external partners to maintain seamless campaign execution.
How You’ll Excel In Your Role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and the ability to quickly learn new software and tools.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a methodical approach to work processes.
- Excellent multitasking and prioritization abilities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication, with a respectful and team-oriented mindset.
- Enthusiasm for learning, staying up to date on industry trends, and an interest in automotive or motorsports (a plus).
- Basic math skills, with a foundational understanding of media math and related concepts.
Pay and Compensation
This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime compensation.
The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 an hour, which is the equivalent to $36,400 gross pay a year.
Pay is not negotiable.
