POSITION SUMMARY

The Director, People & Culture will act as a strategic business partner to internal teams at EO, working with leaders to deliver support across the full employee life cycle, including talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and more. This individual will be a key partner in supporting strategic People & Culture initiatives that will allow EO to achieve our long-term goals.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partners with leaders and People & Culture colleagues to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Contributes to a variety of talent management processes including, but not limited to, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and employee development.
  • Provides support and guidance to supervisors and employees when questions and issues arise.
  • Supports the Senior Director, People & Culture on the planning and execution of the annual performance review process.
  • Manages the full recruiting lifecycle for open roles across all levels and departments to find, hire, and retain quality talent as needed.
  • Partners with members of the People & Culture team on learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Maintains strong relationships with key HR vendors and provides input on the deployment of external resources.
  • Support internal communication efforts and the management of EO’s internal Sharepoint site.
  • Supports culture initiatives, including but not limited to the execution of: Global Staff Week, engagement and pulse surveys and associated action planning, leadership and staff development initiatives, etc.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE PREFERRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in a strategic HRBP position.
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in full-cycle recruiting, with global experience preferred
  • Experience in developing and executing learning and development programs preferred
  • Proactive, results-driven, collaborative, and people-centric. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work directly with senior leaders.
  • Proven experience managing stakeholders and proactively driving HR initiatives.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • A strong desire to work as part of a global team in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • International HR experience preferred.
